Exactly where we are ...
Dún Chaoin is Ireland’s most south-western town land on the Dingle Peninsula in West Kerry, Ireland..
• Make your way to Daingean Uí Chúis/Dingle (town) N 71.
• On arriving in the town, turn left at the first roundabout,
and continue until the second roundabout (Milltown).
• Follow the road signs towards Ceann Trá / Ceann Sléibhe
(Ventry/Slea Head).
• Pass through the Ceann Trá village.
• Continue until you reach a junction with a church (Naomh
Caitríona), and the Páidí Ó Sé's pub.
• Turn right at this junction onto a narrow road, (called An
Clasacht), that leads you over a mountain road - the
mountain (on your left is Sliabh an Iolair (Mount Eagle).
• Continue on this road as it descends into Dún Chaoin.
• Just prior to the end of this road is a left turn with a house
on its corner - this house is Amharc Álainn - your
(temporary) holiday house - the house name is writen in a stone in the garden which you'll see as you approach the last junction.
Enjoy the views and your stay!!!
